MacMoray Partnership

We were delighted to be the official partner of MacMoray Easter Festival 2024.

By partnering with MacMoray Festivals our students had the opportunity to take part in an exclusive and unique work experience to learn and understand the complexity and fun of running an event behind the scenes and backstage.

MacMoray is a fantastic event for our local community and we really enjoyed the amazing weekend with you all.

UHI Moray Zone

Our Active Campus Co-ordinator, Jack, along with sports students ran some fun activities at the UHI Moray Zone. They set up sessions of football, boccia, dodgeball, kwik cricket and playground games.

Video competition

We gave away two weekend tickets to MacMoray Easter Festival 2024 to one lucky student/graduate!

The winning entry and runner-up entries were shared on the big screens at MacMoray Easter Festival.

Volunteering

Eleven students grasped the opportunity to volunteer at MacMoray Easter Festival.

Ranging from course areas including Art, Sports, Digital Media, Childcare, Hospitality, Social Sciences and Hairdressing, they worked with the organisers to gain a whole range of skills around how events are organised and executed. We also had two Digital Media students who took footage both behind and front of the stage.

Most activity across the weekend went towards their qualifications, whilst also providing a unique boost to their CVs.
