Board Surgeries

The Board of Management has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the College, while the operational management is delegated to the Principal and his management team.

The Board, although keen not to become involved in operational matters, are always willing to hear from staff who may wish to raise a particular matter with them. This could be to highlight a particular achievement or concern they may have.

To facilitate this, a “Board Surgery” is held once per term with the date, time and name of Board member taking the surgery being advertised around staff. Bookings for the Surgery are taken by the Clerk to the Board’s office.

The Board member taking the Surgery will follow up on the issue(s) raised with management and ensure that appropriate action is taken/feed back given.

This system has been in place since February 2006 and has been well received by Staff.
