Healthcare Support - Clinical (SCQF Level 7) Modern Apprenticeship

What is special about this course?

Apprenticeships and Scottish Vocational Qualifications combine work with study, so you can earn while you learn. It is an exciting way of gaining a recognised qualification that will help to start your career without having to study full time.

As a Healthcare Support Worker in the healthcare industry you could be involved in a range of tasks from preparing medical devices, endoscopic procedures, recording patient vital signs, applying dressings, obtaining blood samples, and more.

By studying this course you will be able to formally demonstrate and gain recognition of your competence and knowledge.

You will work with experienced colleagues and with the support of a dedicated assessor you will gather examples of everyday tasks and build an e-portfolio of evidence.

We can tailor the frameworks to fit different job roles. The Modern Apprenticeship aspect of this course has been designed in partnership with the Sector Skills Council: Skills for Care and Development, ensuring that you will be highly qualified and skilled.
