Maths National 5
What is special about this course?
National 5 Maths is increasingly recognised as the entry requirement for many institutions offering Teacher Training courses, Health and Social Care Service courses, as well as employers such as the Police, Emergency Services and the Armed Services.
This course will provide you with a good foundation for progression to Higher Maths, which is a requirement for many university courses. It will strengthen your confidence when working with calculations and help you understand how the world around you works.
You can study part time alongside your employment or another full time course.
This course covers all the content of the National 5 course, in preparation for the exam which takes place in May.
Many students have found that doing this course helps them understand and support their family members while they are doing their Nat 5 Maths in school or college. Students also take pride in their own achievement through completion of this course and they learn that maths is the solution, rather than the problem.
