If you already use or have a British Sign Language qualification, this award will help you to further develop your skills of communicating effectively in British Sign Language across a wider range of personal/social and vocational/transactional contexts.
This SCQF Level 5 award will concentrate on the integration of productive and receptive skills in a way that reflects their use in real life with emphasis placed on the development of skills which enable you to organise and express ideas in a more coherent way.

Entry requirements
Completion of British Sign Language: Intermediate 1 (SCQF Level 4).

Candidates undertaking this programme will already be able to use British Sign Language for simple everyday communication.

If you are studying part time and are on low income or in receipt of certain benefits your course fees may be covered by a fee waiver.
