I teach Criminology which covers several different aspects of crime theory and practice in Scotland and abroad. We investigate Crime Scenes, look at our courts and prison systems and even dip into forensics!
Pupils can gain an understanding of what makes a criminal and how we deal with crime here in Scotland. They are given the opportunity to think about how fair our system is and whether we could change some aspects of it. They develop critical thinking skills, lots of knowledge and a link to the rest of the social sciences. This course is perfect if students would like to pursue a career or qualification in Criminology.
Moray College is a welcoming place to study where lecturers will support you to succeed in your course and develop a taste for further learning.
