Ross Andrews

I am the student’s mentor in the brickwork department helping them achieve their practical and theory-based work. This course gives pupils a solid understanding of the construction industry and a head start into work.

I did this course whilst I was at school and at the age of 16 got an apprenticeship with local bricklaying company. I completed a HNC whilst doing my apprenticeship in Construction Management, at 18 I completed my skills test and worked in the industry for over 10 years before becoming a lecturer in Construction. Moray College UHI offers a wide variety of courses throughout both campuses. It is a good place to learn!

I still put my construction skills into practice, I am currently renovating my own house, bringing it back to bare bones and starting again.
