Moray College UHI Hairdressing student through to UK finals of the Wella X-POSURE colour competition

Moray College UHI student Lisa O’Shane, currently studying Level 3 Hairdressing, has achieved great success during the regional rounds of the Wella X- POSURE Colour Competition and secured a place in the UK final, which will be held at Wella Professionals World Studio London on the 7th June 2012.

Hairdressing Lecturer Hazel Maguire said, ’We’re very proud of Lisa’s achievements, reaching the finals has required hard work and dedication. Lisa talents promise her a bright future in hairdressing.’

To reach the final Lisa entered stage 1 of the competition by submitting photographs of her work. Lisa’s entry was selected from hundreds of applicants to be 1 of 20 to compete in Stage 2 – the Scottish Regional Heat which was held at Clydebank College on the 7th March 2012.

The standard of work from all entries was exceptionally high and was judged by some of the biggest names in Hairdressing.
