"Studying Engineering Systems at HND level was a challenging yet extremely rewarding venture. The course gave me an insight into the many different aspects of Engineering and the sectors in which it plays a key part, allowing you to also explore further a desired route. In my case being the Electrical & Electronic stream.

Moray College UHI’s learning environment suited me greatly as I needed a less formal way of learning and more engagement with staff. Thus why the lecture theatre environment did not suit me. This is still used but on a smaller and more interactive scale. The hours suited me to pursue part time employment and activities to better my longer term employment chances. Facilities on both the Main Campus and Linkwood Campus where I was based were of a standard which allowed work to be completed with ease with quick access to help when needed.

Through finding my CV online Intel contacted me requesting to speak to me further about an interview to join their worldwide team of technicians ensuring that their tools run at optimum performance. My skills gained at Moray College UHI was one of the reasons that I looked so good to the company. I am now working for Intel in the Republic of Ireland as a Process Technician (along with 3 other ex-Moray College UHI students) with aspirations of being sent to Israel or the United States to chase the upcoming technology as well as studying at the University of Arizona for Material Science with Engineering."
