The Power of Social Sciences
Do you want to understand human behaviour, society, and the forces that shape our lives?
Our Social Sciences courses provide the perfect platform to explore these important topics while setting you on a pathway to a rewarding career.
What are social sciences?
Social Sciences include a broad range of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, politics, criminology, and history. These subjects help us understand society, challenge inequalities, and create positive change in communities. The skills developed—such as critical thinking, research, and communication—are highly valued by employers across multiple industries.
According to the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, social science graduates are in high demand, with 70% securing professional-level jobs within six months of graduation (Campaign for Social Science, 2020). Careers in social work, education, criminal justice, mental health, and public policy all benefit from social science expertise.
