Human Resources
The HR Section supports the full range of processes in UHI Moray and support staff from before recruitment and throughout their time with the College. We operate within a unionised environment and work closely with our staff and trade union representative colleagues to ensure that staff are supported in all aspects of their employment.
In addition, UHI Moray recognises the importance of fair rewards for the work and commitment provided by staff and we therefore ensure that processes and structures support the implementation of fair rewards and progressour CORE Values (Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Excellence). Much of our terms and conditions are determined nationally.
We implement a broad range of up to date staffing policies, which promote good practice and provide a framework for the support of the individual needs of our employees, including appropriate arrangements for dignity at work, and promotion of equality.
Our aim is that, through strong people management practices, our staff feel supported and treated equally, with respect, and individually, based on each individuals circumstances at any given time.
