Nursery
UHI Moray Nursery is based in the grounds of UHI Moray and provides both education and care for children between 6 weeks and 5 years. There are three bright rooms with fully qualified and registered staff whose aim it is to provide age related activities and care to promote your child’s development through these very important years.
Our fully qualified staff will encourage your child to engage in active learning through their own play experiences and help them develop confidence and self-esteem, while having fun. We are confident that you will be able to focus on your own studying safe in the knowledge that your child will receive a high level of education and care.
We offer places to our students, staff and the general public.
We have 3 rooms
The Baby Room (6 weeks to 2 years) and our Tweenie Room (2 years to 3 years) provide quality early education and care for our younger children promoting the Key Principles of the Pre-Birth to Three Curriculum.
The 3-5 Room (including Moray Council Funded Places) work alongside Moray Council in providing the early level of the Curriculum for Excellence whilst providing all day care for the children.
Our sessions
Drop off time
- Between 8.45am and 9.15am
Pick up time
- After lunch: any time after 1pm
Between 12 noon and 1pm in all three rooms the children are having their lunch and the little ones go for a sleep. This is a particularly busy time in the Nursery and to save disruption during this time we would expect children to be picked up after this period.
In order to give you time to reach early classes all playrooms open their doors at 8.45am and you have until 4.15pm to pick your child up at the end of the day.
