I am a lecturer for the engineering and electronics courses at Linkwood Technology Centre and I love to fix anything broken because that way I can take machines to bits to find out how they work, sometimes I manage to repair them as well!
About Me: After I left school, I worked to Johnstons for 30 years repairing mechanical and electrical systems where computers were used to control machines. I then worked for the MOD for 10 years on gas and ventilation controls, where I repaired sensors, motors, valves, websites and control panels.
I also worked as a project engineer and a computer tech and facilities manager but now I am semi-retired working a few days a week. Although my BSc is in biochemistry, I’ve always worked as an engineer. My hobbies include rebuilding old motorcycles and breeding huge goldfish.
