Teresa Elliott

I work within the Integrative Healthcare team and within many of the different modules across the programme. I also work within the Counselling team which gives me diverse skillset to work with. My job role is varied and continually changes which definitely keeps me on my toes but I am very driven and love the intensity of it all. Within my role I have many hats including team leadership, curriculum delivery and development, student pastoral care and welfare and of course teaching. Each element brings its own rewards and I love seeing students develop in ways they never expected, to achieve big results for themselves and excel more than they thought they could.

About me: Outside of work I am just as busy and love nothing better than family time and being with my boys although they are grown up now. I love nothing better than a home day and pottering about and I love to cook. I like to work out regularly and do free weights, running and badminton for fun. This gives me some focus time and I find if my body feels strong then my mind does also. I love to read and I love to learn and will forever be studying something and challenging myself.
