Hellish Kitchen now fully booked

Meet our new intake of students who will be running Hellish Kitchen at the Beechtree Restaurant on the 12th and 19th September.

For those that are unfamiliar with this - the students take control of the evening both front of house and kitchen.  They are allowed to make mistakes as this is the best way to learn. 

Your feedback at the end of the evening is vital as this shows where the students have done well and areas they can improve from a customers point of view.

At the end of your meal - you will be asked to pay what you think your meal is worth (guide price of £14.50 per person).

The menu for the next 2 weeks will be:

  • Beef Carpaccio with Fennel and Shaved Parmesan Salad
  • Cream of Celeriac and Pear Soup finished with a herb oil
  • Fillet of Cod, Pan Seared and set on a bed of Woodland Mushrooms served with Wilted Spinach and a Cucumber and Vermouth Cream
  • Confit of Barbary Duck set on Braised Red Cabbage and Finished with Buttered Fine Beans and Dauphinoise Potatoes
  • Vanilla Pannacotta with Poached Figs and Plum Compote
  • Dark Chocolate and Orange Torte set on a Nut and Oat Base, with a Lime and Chilli Syrup
