Develop Your People Event (Part of Moray Business Week)
As part of Moray Business Week, Moray College UHI will be hosting "Develop Your People Event". This event will take place on Thursday 13th November in the Alexander Graham Bell Centre for Digital Health, between 10am - 2pm. The event will focus on the range of volunteering and training opportunities available for businesses, employees and individuals.
Attending the event will be voluntary sector organisations and social enterprises who will be promoting the value of volunteering. Skills Development Scotland and Jobcentre Plus will also be talking about the range of incentives and training provision for employers and employees, including the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. It is hoped that an employer who currently offers Modern Apprenticeships opportunities will be there to share their experiences and how the scheme has supported their business growth.
Representatives from Moray College UHI will also be there to talk about their short course provision and work based courses including First Aid, Health and Safety, IT as well as longer term learning including the Professional Development Courses and SVQs’ and Modern Apprenticeships.
There will be a number of information stands and networking opportunities throughout the day. Booking is advisable however not essential. There will be presentations from 10.30am from some of the key relevant agencies. You can then spend some time visiting the information stands and meeting representatives from the various organisations.
