Study for your ECDL qualification at Moray College UHI

The ECDL is the European-wide qualification that enables people to demonstrate their competence in Information Technology skills. At Moray College UHI we are offering daytime classes in all of our Learning Centres and Evening Classes in Elgin and Buckie.

This course is becoming the most widely recognised qualification in the field of work-related computer use and is accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

The aims of the ECDL course are:

  • To raise the general level of competence in Information Technology
  • To improve productivity at work
  • To enable employers to invest more efficiently in Information Technology
  • To ensure that best practice and quality issues are understood and implemented.

 

We are also offering the Advanced ECDL.  This course is designed for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing to enable them to develop their IT skills and competence in Microsoft Office applications.

The evening classes are based in our Elgin and Buckie centres on Monday evenings.  In Buckie the course is run 6pm - 8.30pm and in Elgin 5.30pm - 8pm.  The daytime courses are offered in Elgin, Forres, Nairn, Keith and Buckie.
