UHI Moray are looking to recruit a Senior Training Co-ordinator working within the Marketing and Business Development Team to lead and manage the delivery of the Modern Apprenticeship programme.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the successful delivery of the MA programme for UHI Moray, however there may be occasions where they are required to support other UHI Moray training programmes.

The successful candidate will hold a caseload of apprentices which will involve carrying our reviews in line with Skills Development Scotland rules, supporting both apprentices and employer through the programme, dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders involved in the apprentice training programme.

They should have a complete overview of the MA programme, attend partnership meetings, update monthly statistical data for line manager to support the monitoring and reporting of the programme to Senior Management.

Other duties will include supporting and advising the MA Training Co-ordinator, ensuring that all financial claims are carried timeously in line with programme rules, all paperwork is completed in line with audit and compliance requirements and overall meetings the contract target.

The ideal candidate should be educated to HNC level and have minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role, have excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate. Budget reconciliation is an important aspect of this role as is the ability to provide an excellent standard of customer service.
