Beauty Therapy Retail Winner(s) of the Month for Academic Session 12/13
4 Beauty Therapy staff and 5 students ( the Beauty Therapy Retail Winners of the Month) visited the Dermalogica Training Academy in Glasgow as their prize. This trip was funded through the Beauty therapy fund raising activities.
The 5 students and 4 staff too part in a Dermalogica training session in 'micro- zoning' in the morning and the students enjoyed a bodywork session in the afternoon. Beauty therapy staff also arranged a tour of the only day spa in Glasgow situated in the 5 star Blytheswood Square Hotel where the staff answered questions on employability and career opportunities.
During the 'student only' segment in the Dermalogica programme, the staff were lucky enough to attend a make up master class with Fredrick Letailleur, International Make Up Artist for Yves Saint Laurent.
